Part One:
One of my favorite pictures from this book would be Augustina Martinez's photo at the beginning of her profile. Before reading the profile, the reader starts to wonder why the main focus is only on her hands. Everything is blurred out except for her hands. The caption under the photo under her name that says "Healer" is something else that makes the reader start to think about what is possibly lying in the profile to understand the picture and this caption name. it is the type of picture that intrigues the reader towards the rest of the profile, asking questions like: Why are her hands so wrinkly? Why does she look sad in the background? What does this lady have to share? I definitely do think this is one of the interesting profile pictures in the book.
Part Two:
It is really hard to ask a college student what they are holding on to because I have barley grasped on anything let alone hold on to it. That is why when we went out to interview people, we were asked to interview people whom are older with some experience. People who have gone through things and have seen the light and dark of situations. I am still young and I am still finding my way; but if I were to say I am holding on to anything at the moment, it would be to my dream of becoming a I doctor. I started off really wanting to become a broadcast journalist and work on the news and actually be on TV. I won a couple awards for my work and I even made a 15 minute documentary on being a Muslim in America, that also won an award. I was an anchor for my news team every Friday at my high school, a reporter at my high school, and I even had an internship with the communications department at OSU my senior year of high school where my works got published on the Marion Star! I currently work in the communications and marketing department here at OSUM. I've been on iHeart Radio more than once to talk about this school and my goals in life. I had my heart so set on becoming a broadcast journalist but then I noticed that I just really want to be doctor. I have always wanted to be a doctor. I just knew that I wanted to be a broadcast journalist but that ended up being more of a hobby than a way of life for me. I want to be a doctor to help people and make a difference. I want to be an Endocrinologist and help children with type 1 diabetes just like me. That is what I am holding on to.

Hibba, it's a blessing to have talents in many areas and very cool that you have actually worked hard at journalism and storytelling as well as your interests and passion for medicine. Very inspiring and wish you all the best!
