My favorite photo by Harvey Wang in the book "Holding
On” would be the photo of Johnny Tacco. I really liked the
picture on page 199. In the cover picture for Johnny, he has a
cigar in his mouth with both of his hands gesturing as a boxer.
Looking at the picture, anyone can say that he is standing in a
GYM area. The back wall has a text written on it and it says, “Ringside GYM”.
The back is built from the concrete wall because you can see them and
it is not drywall. There are tiles on the wall to probably a 2-3 foot
high. The cover picture really does not 100% describe that he would
be a boxer or trainer. The picture on page 199 where he is in the
boxing ring with boxing gloves. The back of this picture has some poster. There
are blurry and dark. It seems like there are pictures of
boxers and posters of advertisement something like that. Both of this picture
tells the story that this man probably is a boxer or trainer and
that’s true. Johnny started with water boy when he was a kid then
become a trainer. From trainer, he went to a manager position
then opened his own gym which called “Ringside GYM” in St. Louis (this is the
same text appeared in the cover picture of his profile). Then he moved to Las
Vegas after a couple of years. The one thing he was holding on was to
his BOXING GAME!

What I am holding onto would be who really, I am. I always have a
smile on my face no matter what. I have heard lots of people say I have a good smile. Which kind of sounds weird to me. I
like taking pictures, doing Photoshop etc. I like exploring the nature. I like
visiting new places and taking a picture.
I like helping others. I don’t want anything changes
me what I am. The picture of mine describes me. My name is Prem which means
love and happy and I live up to that. I think that’s what makes me unique and
drives my life on the right path. This is something I will hold on to
forever.

Great smile Prem! It is very neat knowing you like to do photography. I am wondering what type of camera and equipment you own and use.
